Most "minor monitary fluctuations" are ones happening to other people.

HaMaqom yemalei chesronkha, even if you consider it minor.

Hello! I'm not sure if I'M missing something or if YOU'RE missing something. This post isn't an essay, but an audio podcast. On the podcast, I read and translate the entire commentary from the Rambam, which is not what you linked me to on Sefaria. I merely included the text for the sources I cite so that people can follow along, but my translation and explanation are in the podcast itself, which you can access by clicking "play" or by finding The Stoic Jew Podcast on any podcasting platform.
