Thanks! I'll have to check out that Ramban. I'll bet it dovetails with the Ramban's explanation for why Noach was commanded to build a large Ark, even though a miracle would necessarily be involved.

I believe the Ramban you're referring to correlates well with the Ran you quoted, not so much with the Ramban in Behaaloscha.
